WOYWW 95

Good Morning! My table is a mess again! I got some new paper yesterday from TKMaxx and that's what's here on my table. Need to try and squeeze it in with all my other paper. The mess is even spilling out onto my chair! Last night when I was making the Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge I was kneeling on the floor making it!

Stamping Ground is the place to go if you want to have a peek around other people's mess!

Sunbeam Sunday

Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a nice relaxing Sunday. I have had a busy week and this coming week is set to be busier still, so I might not be around much. I wanted to share a card I made this afternoon using Sunbeam Stamp

I love the scripture stamps you can get at Sunbeam Stamps. If you go over to Sunbeam Stamps and create a project and link up, there is a chance to win 3 stamps!
I am also entering this into Paper Cutz Challenge to use 3 patterned papers on a project. This paper is Songbird by Papermania
(My faux stitching is about as straight as my stitching on a sewing machine!!)
Hope you have a great week!

Lots of Challenges!!

My little girl is feeling much better, and went to bed early to try to catch up on all the sleep she has been missing! Which gave me the evening free to play!! I caught up on some challenges.
First I did a card for Getting Cricky challenge 'Pack your Bags' and this is also for Wacky Wednesday to create a card for a man. I used Create a Critter for the camera and the paper is American Crafts.
This card is for Die Cutter Divas to use a garden cut, and also Cricut Cardz Challenge to use only Pink, white and green. The watering Can is from Walk in my Garden Cartridge.

Finally, a LO for Scrappy Saturday's with the Bug challenge 'Spring with a twist of Green'. I used Accent Essentials to cut out the flourish and the background.

A busy, busy evening, but I feel much better and relaxed, I've had quite a stressful week looking after the baby.

Thank you for stopping by.

Good afternoon, it is a beautiful day here, and I have enjoying the sun shine this morning with my friend. I thought I would show you what my table looks like this afternoon. I haven't done much crafting this week because my baby has been ill, but there is still a mess that means at least a little bit of creativity has been happening!

Sweet City of Mine Challenge

Another quick post, I wanted to share what I had done for the Sweet City of Mine project to make something about your favourite city. I have done some small 6"x6" scrapbook pages of LONDON!! My home city and definitely my favourite city!
I loved these papers by American Craft, perfect for a London project.

Challenge Me Monday #52

Happy Monday! This week's challenge at Fantabulous Cricutis to create a Birthday project, in honour of Robin's birthday. Here is my card-

I took a 5 1/2"x 9" piece of card, I scored it at 2", 4", 5 1/2", 7", 8". The cake is from From my Kitchen, the letters are Hannah Montana, and the candle is from Doodlecharm. I stuck the candle and flame on acetate before attaching it to the cake. I also cut out a small flame and used it as the dot for the 'i' in birthday. The letters have glitter.

Hope you can get involved with the challenge, I am looking forward to having a look at what you create!!

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBIN!!

Unused Challenge

My kids have gone to a birthday party this evening, and I have been busy cleaning the house and getting ready to go to Church in the morning. But that is all done now, and I thought I would share a card for the Die Cuttin Divas Challenge to use a cartridge that you haven't used much or at all. Well, I try really hard to use all of mine, if I haven't used it for a couple of weeks, I push it to the top of the list! So instead I made a card with a cut I have never used before. I made a card for the little boy that is having his party today.

He is so cute, this little croc, I wonder why I haven't used him before. He is on Create a Critter cartridge. The letters are from Hannah Montana (this is my favourite font cartridge at the moment). I made this card this afternoon, about 20mins before they had to leave and I wish I would have had more time and cut the croc out a little bigger. But I will know for next time I use him!

Cricut Cardz challenge #66

Good Afternoon, I wanted to quickly share my entry for Cricut Cardz Challenge, which is to create a thank you card using a border cut, and the colours yellow, blue and white.
I took a 18cmx21cm piece of white card and folded it half, from the fold line I cut 2.5cm from the edge, down 4.5cm, on both sides. I folded these two pieces down into the card to create the shape. I used Doodlecharm to cut out the heart border. I stamped on the hearts with a Bently Bear stamp set, and coloured them in with Promarkers. The greeting stamp is from a Penny Black set.Thank you for visiting.

It's a Green Screen

Hello, today when we got home for school my kids were very tired, and they have just been playing quietly. So I thought I would take advantage of the time and put a card together for a couple of challenges-

I love this paper, it is Birdsong from Papermania. I used one of the phrases from Calligraphy Collection. Once I had cut it out, I thought it was too small, and would be quite tricky to stick, so I used the negative, and I really liked how it looked. I did dash lines (not very well in the corner!-My baby climbed on my lap when I was doing that part and she jogged me!!).
This card is for Cooking with Cricut challenge to use 2 shades of green, and Throwback Thursday to make something with green.

Thank you for visiting.

Good Morning! I have a pic of what my table looks like this morning-Last night my kids and I were making cards for Nanny, who is on holiday this week. My son wanted to make a card and pop it around so it's a surprise for when she gets back. He is very sweet! But also messy! I already had a big mess on there from what I had been doing earlier so now there is no table just lovely craft stuff!
Thanks for stopping by and if you want to join in go to Stamping Ground

Where does the time go...?!

A really quick note, as I need to go and collect my son from school, the day has just flown by! Here is a card for Bitten by the Bug challenge to use a duck or chick and Mojo Monday sketch challenge-

I used Create a Critter, the paper and the stamp are Honey and Hugs from Papermania, I stamped it on some ribbon. The buttons are also from Papermania.

Challenge Me Monday #51

Hello,
Although it is my week off from Fantabulous Cricut challenge, I was so inspired by the other Design Team members, that I had to join! The challenge was to make a square card using gold and green. I found it a bit hard at first because I don't really like gold. I had the Hannah Montana cartridge on my table and I noticed the guitars and I thought- they might look good in gold. So I gave it a go and I added some gold stickles and some green fibers and this is what I got-
Make sure you check out what the Design Team have done, they are so talented!

I {heart} Sunbeam Stamps!!

Hello,

I  made a scrapbook layout this afternoon using some of my favourite Sunbeam Stamps.

I used the Eternity Definition and Families are forever. I used the Hannah Montana cartridge for the title and the journaling tag. The temple is a svg file I got from an Esty store. The paper is American Crafts.
I stamped the Families are Forever in a light pink ink so I can go back and write on it later, and you will see it behind.
I love Sunbeam Stamps, there are some LDS themed stamps, but there are also ones for lots of occasions. Laura, the designer, is going to be starting some exciting things on her blog in the coming weeks, so check it out.

I am also using this LO for the Inking it up challenge to create a LO.

I love Saturdays!

Saturday is my favourite day of the week, I love spending time with my family and getting lots of jobs done. We have been very busy today, we took our son to his dance class, did the weekly shop, and we went to a friend's grandaughter's baptism. I also spent some time looking at My Pink Stamper blog Hop. There was also a chance to join in, by making a Spring project.
I used a 15cmx21cm piece of card, scored in half, then the front was scored in half again and folded back. I cut the chick from Create a Critter at 3 1/3". The paper and slider are from We R Memory Keepers.

Thanks for stopping by. And don't for my give away, click here or on the side....

Cricut Cardz challenge #65

Hello,I had a very quite morning and I was able to do Cricut Cardz challenge, which is to make a large card. Then this afternoon, my baby girl started getting sick. Poor little thing. She was sick all over the carpet I only just shampooed yesterday!! Now I am in her room while she tries to go to sleep. The only thing that stops her from crying is to listen to 'Falling In' by Lifehouse-over and over again! I used to really like the song! I don't mind really, if it helps her to feel a bit better. Hopefully she will be asleep soon. But here is my card for the challenge-
I used From my Kitchen Cartridge, the paper is We R Memory Keepers. The stamp is Inkadinkado.

WOYWW

A quick post this morning, this is what my table looks like this morning. I haven't put away the LO I did yesterday-or the things I used to make it!!
If you want to play along go to Stamping Ground.

I am sure I will do another post this afternoon, with something new!

The paper is We R Memory Keepers, I used Doodlecharm and Hannah Montana Cartridges. I am not sure where the stamps are from, and the flowers were free on a magazine.
The second challenge is for Bitten by the Bug challenge to use a Ladybug.

I used the same cartridges for this card as well. The ribbon is Kanban, and the embossing folder is Docraft-although I have one in my give away just click here for details.
I have got so much done today and it's only lunch time!

Challenge me Monday

This is my first post as a member of the Design Team for Fantabulous Cricut!! This week's challenge is to create a project with a tree on it. I have made a card using Winter Woodland Cartridge. I love these trees! The paper I have used is from Papermania and is called Bird Song, the stamp is from the same range.

The smaller trees were cut at 3" and the front tree was cut at 3 1/4". The birds were also cut from the cartridge, they were cut at 1/2" and 3/4". The ribbon is from American Craft. Pop over to Fantabulous Critcut to see what the other design members have come up with and upload your creations.

My husband treated me to a few craft bits for being on my first design team, and when we were shopping I thought I would get a little treat for my followers. I was very nervous about starting a blog. But everyone has been very sweet, and I have appreciate all the comments. So, I got a few little treats to say THANK YOU!! All you have to do is become a follower, and leave a comment on this post and from the comments, someone will be picked randomly in a fortnight.

With Easter coming up I thought I would get some Easter themed things. There is a stamp set and an embossing folder, and a few other goodies. I look forward to reading your comments. Thank you again for all your kindness the past couple of months.

Thank you for your visit.

Happy Birthday to my Friend!

I am really blessed to have a number of good friends. This past week was one of my friend's birthday and for a small gift for her I made her this-

All I have done is put the cards and envelopes in a bag, I took a pieces of green card 13cmx14cm and scored it at 7cm. I stapled this over the page and decorated it. The punch is from Xcut and the Stamps are Penny Black.
