Lasting Memories Punch Challenge

Hello, welcome to my Lasting Memories DT post for this week's challenge. This week the challenge is to use a punch to make a background. I found this a bit hard to begin with, I didn't think I had that many punches. But then I remembered I had some flower punches, and used a 2" flower punch to make a background. This picture was only taken yesterday of my daughter. I took her on a Mother/Daughter camp over night Friday night. We had a great time, she loves being outdoors and loved hearing the birds singing in the morning. I loved this picture of her I took when we were having a walk in the woods on Saturday morning just the 2 of us.

I punched out 12 flowers and embossed them with a dotty folder. I used the punch out to make on of the rows of flowers. I think the fabric flowers are from Papermania, I have had them both for so long! The frame is from Making Memories.

I was a bit unsure about this challenge at first, and had no real idea of how to do it, but I really like the finished page and the effect! I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge!

  1. This is great! Your daughter is so darling! What a fun little adventure. Love how you used the negative flower piece as well. Great idea!!

  2. Great job with the challenge. I love your idea. She is soooo beautiful also.

  3. For someone a "bit unsure", you rocked and your daughter is GORGEOUS! Look at that hair! Beautiful LO!
