Challenge me Monday!!

Hello, the challenge this Monday at Fantabulous Cricut is a splash of colour!! We need to include yellow on a project! My son's favourite colour is yellow, and has been since he was a baby! He always picked the yellow crayon or the yellow brick. When I saw these yellow papers and ribbons from Papermania Capsule, Lemon Sorbet, I knew I had to get ALL the range!!
Yellow is a very cheery colour for a get well card. I used this very cute cut of Jack & Jill from Nursery Rhymes.

Lasting Memories Challenge!

Hello, This week's challenge at Lasting Memories is to scrap what inspires us. I found this a tricky challenge. I have picked a photo of my daughter. My children are so special to me and most of my pages are of my children. These photos were taken of my daughter's feet when she was a month old. I think they are so cute!! My children are my biggest inspiration. I am also inspired by beautiful photos, like this one. I tried to use scrapbooking supplies that inspire me too-I used some lovely American Crafts patterned paper, and some ribbons. I also used the sketch-

Lasting Memories Challenge-Try Something New!

Good Morning! I am really excited about this week's challenge at Lasting Memories! It is to try something new! I think we all have things that we want to try out but never get around to, or things we have bought that we haven't used! Well that is what I have done for my layout. I have always loved die cut papers and ages ago I bought a pack of Silhouettes by K&Co. and have never used them. I have pulled them out a few times, then felt a bit unsure so put them back again!! I have also tried something else today, I really like it when people use quotes on their pages, but I have never tried it. So in the spirit of trying new things I have added a quote on my page!

So, what new thing are you going to try? Don't forget that this month Lasting Memories have a design team call, if you want to get involved head over to Lasting Memories to see how to apply!

I can't believe I haven't posted anything all week!!

I can't believe that it is Friday already!! And I haven't done a post all week!! Well, I am making up for it today! This week my son has had a swimming crash course so we have been at the swimming pool every day this week, while he has been having his lesson I have taken my daughter swimming in the learner pool. It has been a great week-although it hasn't left much time for crafting. This morning I let my son have a TV morning. He was really tired from all the lessons so he needed a bit of rest, and I sat at my table making cards and doing some scrapbooking for a couple of hours-which was FAB!!

So here are my cards-

For Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge this week it is to use fruit or veg- I have used From My Kitchen to make this card. The paper is from DoCraft, the button is American Crafts.
The next card is for Throw Back Thursday challenge to use a retired cartridge. I have used the Elephant from Zooballoo. The paper and buttons are from Papermania, the greeting is from a Honey & Hugs set. I used a Fiskars punch for the bottom of the card.
And finally I made a card for Cricut Cardz Challenge to make a Thank you card using a heart, and not pink or red. I have used Doodlecharms. The paper is again Papermania. The punch is XCut and the stamp is from a Honey & Hugs set.

Here is the sketch-
All the paper I used was from We R Memory Keepers. I loved the colours in this paper. The letters are from American Crafts, the ribbons were odd bits I hadm and buttons are from different places-some are Papermania, some are from American Crafts, some I am not sure!

Travel Notebooks

Hello, over at Cricut 360 the challenge is transportation, with it being holiday time!! I have wanted to make notebooks for my kids for our holiday later on in the year and this was just the motivation I needed to get them done! I have used some exercise books and cover them with some paper from We R Memory Keepers. I have used Destination Cartridge. I wanted my kids to have a notebook that they can draw and write in while we are away and stick in anything that find and want to keep while we are on holiday. It will give them something to do while we are driving around France.
