Lasting Memories Challenge- Black and White!
Hello, the challenge this week at Lasting Memories is to use Black and White- and nothing else, even the photos need to be black and white! I thought I would find this a really hard challenge, but once I got started I really enjoyed it. I am pleased with the finished page. The picture is of my family before my daughter was born.
The paper, the vellum, the buttons and the pearls are from Papermania. I used a Sunbeam Stamp for the family stamp in the bottom corner.

Your layout is gorgeous. I love how the vellum mutes the color below. I'm going to have to scraplift this idea.

You know, I always forget about vellum! I love this how it makes the bottom paper more subtle and really focuses you to the pic. I think my favorite part tho is the little buttons, pearls and flower in the corner! xoxo Charity LMDT

OH I love the buttons and pearls mix! The vellum is such a great idea...it really tones down the black. I will definitely be using that idea. THanks! :)
