Paper Piecing LO-Lasting Memories Challenge

Hello, I have my Lasting Memories challenge to share with you today. The challenge is to use paper piecing on a layout. Paper piecing is when you use different papers and materials to create an image-for example I have stamped my bear on different paper then pieced them together to create the look. It is a technique I used to use loads, but haven't done in ages, and I have never used it on a scrapbook page. I really enjoyed the challenge. This picture is of me when my first niece, Jessica was born.

 I used-
Dovecraft paper
Ribbon- American Crafts.
The stamp -Forever Friends,
Journaling lable - Making Memories
Flower- Prima
The chipboard sticker, the button, the pearls and pink ribbon were all bits I had, I'm not sure where they came from.

I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with using this technique.

What a week!!

Hello! I feel like I have been away for ages!! We have been ill in our house, but today I feel much better, so hopefully we are over it all now-just in time for the bank holiday weekend!!

I have a card to share, I used Create a Critter to cut out the Dino, the paper is We R Memory Keepers. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the dino and inked around the edges-

This is my entry for Throwback Thursday's challenge-to use Green and Yellow.

Challenge me Monday.

Good Morning! It's Monday again, so it's time for another challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut! This week's challenge is to use the colour blue and a cloud shape. Here is my card-

I used Create a Critter cartridge for the kite and the clouds. I didn't cut out the face layers. I love this cartridge (I know I say it all the time!) But it is so versatile, it is always the cartridge I look at first. The patterned paper was free from a magazine. The stamp is from an American Crafts set.

I am excited to see what you with this challenge!

Lasting Memories floral Challenge

Good Afternoon! I hope you are having a nice Sunday. The challenge this week at Lasting Memories is to incorporate flowers into a Layout. Here is my LO-

This is a picture of my Great Grandmother, her name was Catherine. I made the flowers from pages of a book. I got the book from the library's withdrawn book for 10p, it's great for adding little details. The paper is K&Co, the flower embellishment is from Making Memories. The stamp is from Sunbeam Stamps.

Thanks for stopping!

A bit late!

Hello, I have been so busy today that I have only just had time to come a do a post. I have a LO to share for Fantabulous Circut Scrappin' Saturday. We were asked to use a sketch, here is my LO-

Here is the sketch. I used Winter Woodland cartridge to cut out the shapes and Accent Essential to cut out the flourish. I cut it out in acetate, then used a Viva Decor pearl pen. The paper is from K&Co, and the chipboard letters are My Mind's Eye. The rest of the ribbons and buttons were just bits I had.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure you check out the other great creations at Scrappin' Saturday!

Happy Monday!!

Hello, How has your day been? I have some cards to share with you I made for a couple of challenges. The first is for Cricut Cardz Challenge-
The challenge was to make a baby card. I used a Honey and Hugs stamp, and some ribbon I had. The pram is from New Arrivals cartridge.

The next card is for Birthday Sundaes circle challenge-

I used some circle paper. I loved the colours, the paper and the stamp was free from a magazine and the birthday stamp is a Penny Black stamp, I also added some thick pink ribbon, and some thin white organza ribbon.
