Christmas in July!! Lasting Memories Challange!
Good Morning! Another Lasting Memories challenge dt post for you this morning! The challenge this week is Christmas in July! I have used some pictures of my son's second christmas. We went to a Victorian Christmas day, there was a market, a Victorian Christmas street and lots of entertainment. It was really good, and we all enjoyed it. There also was a Victorian Santa, he was in green instead of red. He had all the children sit around him and he talked to them about the North Pole.
The paper is from Dovecraft a few years ago. For the title, I took some chipboard letters and inked them in green ink, then I stamped them with a starry stamp in gold ink. The other letters are rub-ons from Making Memoires on some tags. I threaded them on to some gold thread and added some holly and ric rac along side..

Lasting Memories Challenge!
Hello! How are you? It is another Lasting Memories Challenge! This week the challenge is all about the title!! I usually think about the title at the end of a layout, and I am bit rubbish of thinking them up! They are usually quite simple. But today I found the pictures and then thought of the title and took it from there. These pictures are of my little girl, she is such a clown!! She loves making people laugh and is always pulling funny faces.
I am a bit of a lazy crafter, I tend to use whatever is out on my table. I had used this paper earlier in the week for a card and it was still out so I used it again for this layout. It is good in one way because I use up my paper (which means I can buy more without feeling guilty!!) but it also means that sometimes my posts tend to have the same paper-sorry!! But I have used We R Memory Keepers paper. I cut the title out from the Hannah Montana cartridge at 3 1/2", I cut the blue out in capitals and the pink in lower case letters. I used a My Pink Stamper stamp, the embellishments are Making Memories. The ribbon is from Hobbycraft. I used a X-cut border punch.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you can play along!!

B is for Birthday!
Hello, How are you? My little girl is going to go to nursery for one morning a week in September, and yesterday and today we went for a taster session. She went right in without any problems and love it! I was very proud of her. I walked there both times, so it took most of the afternoon, so I haven't had much time the past 2 days to make any thing, but I squeezed in a little crafting before dinner tonight and made this card for Cricut Cardz Challenge-which is a Monogram challenge!
I used We R Memory Keepers patterned paper-I love this paper and use it all the time (Sorry!) but I want to use every scrap of it!! I cut the 'B' from Plantin at 4", I cut out the letter and shadow. and the balloons are from Create a Critter cut at 3 1/2". The stamp is from My Pink Stamper. I'm not sure where the ribbon is from.

Challenge me Monday-Ice Cream!!
Hello, I love summer! But it hasn't really started here yet! It has been raining for the past two weeks-it feels more like April than July. So this week's Challenge Me Monday over at Fantabuous Cricut has really helped to make me feel like Summer! The challenge is to use a cool treat on a project. Here is my card-
I used Once Upon A Princess for the girl, and Peachy Keen stamps for her face. The ice-lolly is from Doodlecharms and I put some glitter glue on it. The greeting is MPS and the papers are We R Memory Keepers.

Lasting Memories Challenge- Add Distressing!
Hello, How are you? Over at Lasting Memories this week's challenge is really exciting! It is to use distressing on your layout. Here is my layout-
This picture is from Cornwall a few years ago. The paper has a great distressed edge, it is from We R Memory Keepers. I took some chipboard from Heidi Grace Designs. I inked them in blue ink from Papermania, and stamped a flourish and edged the letters in black ink. I mounted the photo onto black card, and added some black stones to the corners. I ran a tape runner all along the blue ribbon and stuck it across the bottom. I stamped the journaling tag on some cream card and cut it out.
